This year marks the 25th anniversary of Katch Kan, a global leader in reducing the environmental footprint and improving safety in the oil and gas drilling industry. The entire Katch Kan team couldn’t be more excited to celebrate a quarter century of facilitating Sustainable Well Life Cycle Solutions for the upstream oil and gas industry.
Katch Kan was founded in 1994, but the company’s story starts even earlier — on an oil rig in 1978. That was when Katch Kan’s founder, Quinn Holtby, noticed gruesome injuries and hazardous work conditions all around him, with hand and finger incidents being particularly common on oil rigs. A thought persisted in his mind that he couldn’t shake: There must be a safer way.
With that guiding belief in mind, Katch Kan was born. And since its founding, the company has dedicated itself to making the oil and gas drilling industry safer and more sustainable. 
To celebrate this milestone, Katch Kan is excited to announce the launch of a new website, KatchKan.com. This site will allow current and future clients to view products, learn about Katch Kan’s services, and stay up-to-date on the latest innovations being developed by the Katch Kan team. Additionally, the website features a growing library of informative videos that display Katch Kan’s solutions in action.
It’s time to celebrate with the clients and colleagues who have made this 25-year journey possible. That’s why the Katch Kan team will be attending the Global Petroleum Show (GPS) in Calgary, Alberta, on June 11, 12, and 13. GPS attracts over 50,000 oil and gas executives from around the world, representing over 21,000 companies — making it the most important energy expo and conference in all of North America.
The Katch Kan team will be set up at booth #1333 in Hall B of the BMO Centre, showcasing innovative technologies alongside other leading energy brands. Important discussions happen at GPS every year, and the whole Katch Kan team looks forward to adding its voice to conversations that could shape the future of the energy industry.
